‘I don’t see a wedding dress’ -Shakira

While Lady Gaga says she’ll never have kids, Shakira says she might never marry fiancĂ© Antonio de la Rua.

The ‘Hips don’t lie’ singer has been dating the son of Argentine ex-president Fernando de la Rua for the last 10 years. They were engaged in 2001.

“No, I have no plans to get married. Ever. There’s something romantic about being someone’s girlfriend forever. I like the state that I’m in,” Shakira tells News of the World.

“I definitely plan to have children but I don’t see a wedding dress anyway.”

Apparently, the pop singer ruffled de la Rua’s feathers with her new “Gypsy” video in which she stars alongside tennis player Rafael Nadal.

“It’s not his favorite thing in the world to watch that video. But it’s my job and part of what I do.

“I’d known Rafael for a while and thought he’d be perfect for this video. And he was. It was his debut as an actor. He was really easy to work with and we had a lot of fun. Even though he’s good-looking, he’s very humble and not full of himself at all.”

Shakira to sing a item No. in Bollywood

Latin American sensation Shakira's turn to rock in a Bollywood song. She will sing for a film featuring entrepreneur Sachin Joshi, the key sponsor of Kolkata Knight Riders Indian Premier League team.

To be composed by Salim Sulaiman, the number, a frenzied dance track to be filmed on South African model Candice Boucher, will be recorded in the next couple of months. "It will be a very sensuous cabaret kind of song," said Salim.

Shakira is no stranger to India. In 2007, she performed live in Mumbai and other cities and has repeatedly expressed a desire to be part of the Bollywood film industry.

"Sachin Joshi, who's helming and starring in the project, is in touch with Shakira and she has agreed to sing for Salim-Sulaiman," a source said.

"The lyrics would be in English, but with a smattering of easy Hindi. It won't be a duet like the song Kylie Minogue sang on Tony D'Souza's 'Blue'. It'd be a Shakira solo dhamaka." Source:economictimes
