Mughda Godse in white bikini in ‘Help’

Mughda Godse dons a white bikini in her upcoming film ‘Help’ starring Bobby Deol in the male lead. Completely drenched in water, the scene was shot in and out of the sea water. ‘Help’ is a horror thriller slated for August 13 release. Since she hails from the modeling world so donning bikini is not a new experience for Mughda Godse. In her debut film, ‘Fashion’, she walked the ramp in a bikini with lower part draped in wrapper round.

"I wasn't conscious about wearing a bikini as it was a script requirement. But I had to work really hard to keep my body in shape." Ashley Rebello has done the styling for the film. She settled for a plain white bikini instead of the fluorescent, colourful ones", quips Mughda.

She adds, "What was tough for me to portray the two looks I have in the film -- at certain times it was glamorous while other times it had to be ghastly." Directed by Rajeev Virani, Help is slated for an August 13 release. "It's a Friday the 13th and considering its subject the makers wanted it to be out on that day," points out Mugdha who was earlier seen in Jail and All The Best.

Ranbir & Katrina to pair Again?.

Filmmaker Rajkumar Santoshi is going to rope in Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif for a romantic comedy once again. After a long time, he tasted success with Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif starrer, ‘Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahini’ and Santoshi yet again wanted to repeat the success history by casting Ranbir and Katrina.

The title of the film has not been declared but it is assumed that the film will be produced by Ashtavinayak. In the past, there were many projects of Santoshi which were shelved. But now he is keen to work in this new film. "But he and the producers are keen that this project rolls by the year-end. He tasted success with Ajab Prem... after his last few films did not do well. Due to which he is keen to make a film with Katrina again who is a lucky mascot for him" says a source.

Apart from Ranbir and Kat, there will be two more actors in the film, the names of which has not been disclosed yet. An Ashtavinayak spokesperson confirms, "Rajkumar Santoshi is directing a film for which work is in progress." Source:BM

Mani Ratnam’s highly awaited film ‘Raavan’ hit the theatres worldwide, the female protagonist of the film, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan isolated herself from the public. She is reluctant to face the media due to constant controversy surrounding the film and its star casts. ‘Raavan’ was highly criticized by the critics and Abhishek Bachchan was targeted for his bad show.

“It is to be noted that Ash has not made any public appearance after the film and her PR machinery has been asked to remain silent regarding her whereabouts. This is to avoid any uncomfortable questions from the media,” a source reportedly said.

“The former Miss World was extremely excited before the release of the film since she played the heroine in both Hindi and Tamil versions. Ash thought that she and her husband Abhishek would win accolades from all quarters. But the output was different and this has depressed her a lot,” the source added.

Even Mr. Amitabh Bachchan was showing his anger over the poor editing which spoiled Abhishek’s character, “Lot of merited film edited out, causing inconsistent performance and narrative. Abhishek's erratic behavior was due to symbolic 10 heads visually appearing and each giving him different attitudes to adopt for a situation, he would then finally shake them off and decide,” he said.

Actress Genelia D Souza has been crowned as the Brand Ambassador of the Year by CNBC AWAAZ Consumer Awards. Last year Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan had won the title.

The actress currently endorses nine brands including Cadbury's Perk, Fanta, Spinz, Dabur Vatika, LG Cookie, Virgin, Margo, Garnier and Fasttrack.

"It is an honour that CNBC AWAAZ and the Indian consumers have chosen to bestow upon me and I couldn't be happier. Stalwarts like Shah Rukh and Akshay Kumar have been awarded this prestigious title in the past and I'm only glad that people think I'm worthy of the same," Genelia said in a press statement.

"This award symbolises a bridge between the consumer and the brand and I consider it a huge responsibility. I hope I continue to do even better in the future and I'm sure I will as I have a very strong team with me that helps me build, grow and sustain. My success is as much theirs as it is mine," she added.

Kareena Kapoor turns to Yoga Guru!.

An enthusiast and a practitioner of power yoga herself, Kareena Kapoor has now got Tusshar Kapoor for a student.

Says a source, "It was during their Hyderabad schedule for Golmaal 3 that Kareena persuaded Tusshar to start doing power yoga. It all started when the Kapoor boy's trainer Pramod didn't come for a few days and Tusshki was left with nothing to do. Bebo asked Ekta's bro to join her during her power yoga sessions."
The actress, who has been doing power yoga for more than five years, says, "Yes, I have been teaching Tusshar, who is a close friend. And now, I have put him onto my trainer. I think yoga is the most natural way to stay fit for life and I recommended it to him. My trainer accompanies me everywhere -- even to Morocco, where I am now."

Adds Tusshar, "Pramod asked me to do either cardio or power yoga in his absence. Bebo asked her yoga trainer Payal to help me out. When I did it for 45 min I realized my gym workouts, cardio and weights were nothing compared to power yoga. Each and every part of my body was contorted, twisted and pushed through unimaginable stress. I almost died! By the end of it all, I was sweating so much it was fabulous. I felt completely relaxed. After that, for the next few days, Bebo insisted that I do power yoga with her regularly."

Now in Mumbai, Tusshar plans to take up power yoga and do it twice a week. "I can't stop doing weights so Pramod will help me work out five days in a week except Thursdays and Sundays and that's when I will do power yoga. I will probably be the first hero to do power yoga. Sonam Kapoor and Deepika Padukone share something in common and that is heartthrob Ranbir Kapoor. Films don’t fail, budgets fail, says Sonam Kapoor

Sonam Kapoor has begun to understand the nuances of movie business rather well. After witnessing the Box Office debacle of her two big-budget movies, Sonam has realised it is wiser to do small budget films like her forthcoming ‘I Hate Luv Storys’.
"I decided let`s go the other way. Quite a few seasoned directors offered me films. When you work with Sanjay Bhansali (`Saawariya`) and Rakeysh Mehra (`Delhi 6`), the audience expects so much from you. Both the films were big budget films," Sonam, 25, told reporters in an interview.

"I think films don`t fail, budgets fail. For example `Saawariya` broke even, but it was neither a hit nor a flop. Had it been made in say Rs.15 crore or less, it would have been a hit. So I thought let me try doing films of lesser budget."

After debuting with Bhansali`s ‘Saawariya’ (2007) and then doing another seasoned director Mehra`s ‘Delhi-6’, Sonam had to convince herself to work with first-time director Punit Malhotra in ‘I Hate Luv Storys’, which also stars Imran Khan in the male lead.

"When Punit came to me, I thought he is such a good-looking guy, he should be into acting, why he is directing. When I saw that he has written the script and dialogue all by himself, I thought this guy has something in him. When he was speaking about the characters, he was very specific about what he wants," she said.

"I found that he has worked as assistant director for 10 years. He knows the technical elements and he has his own point of view. I thought he is not a bad guy to work with. I also wanted to work with Imran and we both were his first choice," she added.

In three years Sonam has had just two releases. Asked about it, she said: "I believe in quality and I believe if you don`t saturate yourself you can`t be creative."

‘I Hate Luv Storys’ is a romance saga. It revolves around two people who are completely opposite when it comes to finding true love. While Imran`s character Jay doesn`t believe in love, Simran, played by Sonam, swears by it and is quite filmy when it comes to love.

Sonam has no qualms in accepting that her actor father Anil Kapoor`s reputation in the industry has helped.

"I have my dad`s experience behind me. I am his daughter not son; so there is not much comparison. People have too much respect for him and he holds a good reputation. So people think that an apple can`t fall too far from the tree, and she may be good as her father and I get work. I have no qualms in accepting that it`s all because of my dad," said Sonam.

She says that both her parents are her guiding force.

"My parents are very honest in showing me my shortfalls. They have always guided me on what to do and what not to do. They told me not to get into the rat race because there you need to do lots of manipulation. And I am keeping up with that. My dad is very proud of me."

After ‘I Hate Luv Storys’, Sonam will be seen in her home production ‘Aisha’ and Pankaj Kapoor`s ‘Mausam’.

Manisha signed for new Movie After Marriage!.

Manisha Koirala, who recently tied the knot with Nepali businessman Samrat Dahal, has signed her first project where she will be playing the role of a politician.

"It`s a women oriented film where she plays the role of a politician. The film is being made under the banner of Yograj Cinevista. Other cast and crew are under finalisation," a statement from the producer said.

The actress, who is the grand daughter of first elected Prime Minister of Nepal B P Koirala, says she always wanted to play the role of a politician.

"I am glad Yograj Cinevista offered me this role and I am looking forward to be playing this role. After marriage I wanted a different and challenging role which I have got," the statement quoted Manisha as saying.

Manisha, who caught the imagination of film lovers with her 1991 Subhash Ghai film `Saudagar`, went on to give memorable performances in Vidhu Vinod Chopra`s `1942: A Love Story`, Mani Ratnam`s `Bombay`, `Dil Se` and Sanjay Leela Bhansali`s `Khamoshi`.

Her upcoming projects include Deepti Naval`s directorial debut `Do Paise Ki Dhoop`, `Char Aane Ki Baarish`, Rohit Kaushik`s `Chehere` and Onir`s `I Am` series where she plays a Kashmiri woman.Source:Spicezee

Kareena As a tomboy in Golmaal 3!..

Kareena Kapoor for the first time will be portraying a tomboyish character in her upcoming movie Golmaal 3, which is directed by Rohit Shetty. When the director was writing the story of this movie, he thought of giving Kareena’s glamorous image a break and offer an unusual role. He wanted her to be a part of the boy’s gang, which comprises of Ajay Devgan, Arshad Warsi, Kunal Khemu, Tusshar Kapoor and Shreyas Talpade.

A close source revealed, “Kareena will sport casual wear in this film. No designer dresses, shoes and bags for her. She will play a badass who spouts abusive tapori language and rides around on a bike. She will be seen doing dadagiri like boys in the gang.” When asked about the role, Bebo she said, “My look in Golmaal 3 is non-glamorous. It is young and grunge, keeping the weather and look of Goa in mind. I play a tomboy but with a feminine touch. Though I will be using tapori language, it will not be too abusive or vulgar. It will be well in tone with my persona.”

When asked was about this news Rohit Shetty, he confirmed and said, “I wanted to give Kareena a new image with this movie. She is one of the boys in the film, and will be sporting minimal make-up. She is talking with Manish Malhotra and they will come up with the right look for the part. I have tried not to make her use too much foul language or abusive lingo. Her whole look and hair will be undergoing a thorough change. Her character in the film is not that rich. We are looking forward to teaching Bebo some exciting language. She has already become a goonda now.”

Tammanah flying to Bollywood?

Tammanah Bhatia presently busy in Kollywood with inline success.Apart from three 4 Tamil films in hand – Thillalangadi, Karthi’s ‘Siruthai’, Dhanush starrer ‘Aruva’ and Lingusamy’s untitled film with Silambarasan, the actress has signed couple of Telugu projects namely ‘Badrinath’ and one more film produced by the same company.

What’s so special about ‘Badrinath’ is that Thamanah coming together with two hunks of Indian film industry. One being the ultimate actor Allu Arjun in lead role, Bollywood’s young cool chap Imran Khan plays an important character in this film.

It’s worth mentioning that producer Allu Arjun of Geetha Arts has been sharing a great rapport with Aamir Khan and his family ever since he produced his ‘Ghajini’.

The film is directed by V.V. Vinayak and has a musical score by veteran M.M. Keeravani and Ravi Varman as the cinematographer.
