Lopez, Cruise not teaming up for ‘Dancing With The Stars’

Singer-actress Jennifer Lopez has laughed off reports that she is likely to join 'Dancing With The Stars' with actor Tom Cruise next year, insisting they are both too 'busy' to take part.

The competition came to an end last month with Pussycat Dolls star Nicole Scherzinger lifting the trophy.

The producers are said to be courting several big names to join the line-up for the next season, and Lopez and Cruise are the latest stars to have been linked to the show following their dance skit together at the recent MTV Movie Awards.

Contactmusic.com reported that Lopez is adamant they will both are too tied up next year to contemplate a stint in the TV contest.

She said, 'I think we're both kind of busy to go on 'Dancing with the Stars'. He's (got), I'm sure, 25 movies lined up, and I'm planning a tour for next year, so I don't know.' Source:Sify

I am boring, says Kristen Stewart

'Twilight' star Kristen Stewart thinks she is boring and spends a lot of time at home with her pet.

'I'm so boring. No I am. I sit in my house with my cat. I'm a crazy cat lady, just give me a couple of years. I have one cat but I'm obsessed with him,' femalefirst.co.uk quoted Stewart as saying.

Stewart is currently promoting the third instalment of 'Twilight' series, 'The Twilight Saga: Eclipse', which will premiere in the US June 30. Source:Sify

Kylie Minogue wants to study again

Pop singer Kylie Minogue wants to sign up for a university course because she didn't get the chance to study after school due to her acting career.

'There's a bit of me that wishes, even fantasises, that after finishing school I went to college and embraced a more academic route but I was straight out working,' express.co.uk reported Minogue as saying.

The 'All I See' singer says that she may give up her career to study at university.

'I do sometimes feel that I could go down that route. What's to say I don't end up doing a stint at New York University? A lot of people do it and there's that part of you that feels dissatisfied and is yearning to be fed. I would study photography. I would love to study art history,' she said.

Minogue, who is dating model Andres Velencoso, wants a scholar companion who can teach her.

'My ultimate, ultimate, ultimate fantasy would be to have a scholar companion. Someone always by my side to teach me, like in those movies about the Roman Empire. Maybe I should put out an ad, 'Wanted: Scholar. Someone who knows everything about everything. Must be prepared to travel',' Minogue said.

The 42-year-old started acting at the age of 11 and continued after finishing school. She shot to fame at the age of 18, when she bagged the role of Charlene in Australian soap 'Neighbours'. She also launched a successful pop career with hits like 'Locomotion'.

Her 11th album, 'Aphrodite', is set for release next month. It is her first studio album in three years, since her 2007 release 'X'. Source:Sify

Aamir to join Twitter on July 1

After much persuasion from megastar Amitabh Bachchan, Bollywood actor-producer Aamir Khan has finally decided to join micro-blogging website Twitter July 1.

"Aamir will be on Twitter from July 1. He was not on Twitter till now because he thought he won't be able to give enough time to it. But since Mr.Bachchan insisted on him joining it, he gave it another thought and has decided to join it. He cannot say no to Mr.Bachchan," said a source close to the actor.

Aamir met Amitabh and his actress-politician wife Jaya over a casual dinner in London last week and Amitabh started persuading him to join the site. He even taught him how to send Tweets through his phone.

Vijay bagged Vikram Role!.

Director Seeman had initially planned Pagalavan with Vikram in the lead and this venture was to have been produced by director Bala. However, Pagalavan did not take off and had to be shelved for various reasons. With Seeman now finding producer Kalaipuli S Thanu to finance this project, the work has begun. When Vikram was roped for this project, there was a buzz that Vijay was under consideration but Seeman had denied it. However, with the project now shifting hands from Bala to Kalaipuli S Thanu, it looks like Vijay will play the lead role.

He is tweeting with the id:@simbuhere. After Trisha, Mamta, Divya, Dhanush and Namitha, Simbu is the latest entrant who has been hit by the twitter mania.

Simbu who is in London has tweeted that he is “looking for a new wardrobe and hunting for location” for his next film Poda Podi.

The shoot of this long pending film directed by debutant Vignesh Shiva and produced by Gemini Film Circuit has Varalakshmi Sarathkumar debuting as heroine.
